Drew McIntyre Says Cody Rhodes Feud Would Be Money

Drew McIntyre is one of the most established WWE Superstars of the past decade, as he won the WWE Championship twice. McIntyre has been back in the fold for almost a month now and it appears he is down for a feud with Cody Rhodes in the future.

Drew McIntyre made his return during the Money In The Bank Premium Live Event and confronted Gunther before laying him out. Fans were happy to see McIntyre make his first appearance since WrestleMania 39.

While speaking with Phil Strum on Under the Ring, The Scottish Warrior stated that he is definitely interested in a feud with Cody Rhodes, noting that he and Rhodes were once WWE Tag Team Champions. McIntyre added that a feud with Rhodes would be money.

We (McIntyre & Cody Rhodes) were the Tag Team Champions, we were both about 24, The Dashing Ones. A lot of people forget that but yeah, similar journeys. We got The Dashing Ones thing and there’s lots of other story elements and things that weren’t even on TV that can be touched upon. That’s a money story down the line and when the time is right. I don’t even wanna think about touching that until the time is right but, it’ll be a big deal when it happens.

Drew McIntyre will battle it out with Gunther at the WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event. We’ll have to wait and see whether McIntyre and Cody Rhodes will engage in a feud in the future.
