MMA Rules Stipulation Added To WWE SummerSlam Match

WWE and UFC are merging, and that means the world of MMA and pro wrestling will never be closer. This Saturday will see SummerSlam in front of a sold out Ford Field in Detroit. That will also bring a very interesting stipulation for one match.

WWE aired a very nice video package for Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler this week on RAW. They walked fans through their history, touching on things, like the Ultimate Fighter, that WWE never brought up before.

When they came back from that segment, it was revealed that Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler will throw down in an MMA Rules match. The exact rules of that stipulation match were not revealed.

We will have to see how the MMA Rules match pans out. Shayna Baszler previously said that she will bring a fight to Ronda Rousey at SummerSlam, and that appears to be exactly what is happening.
