Britt Baker takes a lot of fire from pro wrestling fans, as AEW always has a focus on them from all places around the pro wrestling landscape. Although Britt Baker has received some flack from fans, she still has people ready to jump to her defense.

Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. made headlines on Sunday night, but this time it wasn’t about her pursuit of AEW gold or her side hustle as a legit dentist. Instead, a WWE fan took to Twitter to criticize her past comments regarding the WWE Performance Center. The user used WWE stars like Chelsea Green as examples to assert that the Performance Center was superior in talent development.

After some clarification from Baker about her statements, she received support from the very example mentioned. Chelsea Green herself took to Twitter to remind everyone that she wasn’t a product of the WWE Performance Center and requested not to be associated with it in this negative context. She rightly pointed out that other wrestlers on the list, such as Rhea Ripley, Cora Jade, and Roxanne Perez, also began their careers on the independent scene and were not exclusively products of the WWE Performance Center.

Britt Baker-I don’t think putting a bunch of models and athletes off the street in a warehouse and teaching them all to do the same thing the same way at the same time is going to create a successful roster.

Let’s not forget Alexa Bliss. Then there’s Mandy Rose, Chelsea Green, and Sonya Deville (all from tough enough). This is in addition to Sasha Banks (signed at 20), Charlotte (never stepped in a ring before), and Becky (had quit the business). WWE’s PC is the standard, pal.

Chelsea Green saw this tweet, and she had to fire off a reply. 1/2 of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions tweeted back to say, “Hold up. I’m absolutely not a product of the PC. Don’t put me in this list when you’re trying to come for my friend.” She also tweeted out again to say, “3/5 of those women were indy wrestlers.”

There is certainly a lot of drama on social media, especially in the pro wrestling world. This is one of the big reasons why fans keep coming back time and time again to see who is drumming up controversy on that given day.
