Dominik Mysterio Overcomes The Odds At NXT Great American Bash

WWE will hold the next NXT Great American Bash on Sunday, July 30th, 2023 at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park in Cedar Park, Texas. The card already had a few big matches, but the card wasn’t finished, as they added even more action this week on NXT. The event will started with a title change, and Gable Steveson had quite a debut match.

Dominik Mysterio caused a lot of trouble in NXT when he beat Wes Lee for the North American Title. Dirty Dom put his title on the line at the Great American Bash, and that match was full of heat.

Rhea Ripley was at ringside as she watched Dominik Mysterio defend his NXT North American Title against Wes Lee and Mustafa Ali. This match was full of Ripley as well, because she caused many distractions and interference.

In the end, Dominik Mysterio nailed a frog splash from the top and got a pinfall to win the match. That win was assisted by Rhea Ripley in a big way, as she put Wes Lee through an announce table prior in the match. She also pulled Mustafa Ali out of the ring at the last minute so he couldn’t get the pin on Lee and win.

Now, Dominik Mysterio will stick around NXT even longer. We’ll have to see what’s next for the Judgment Day member, but NXT could see a lot more from Dirty Dom as things continue.
