Finn Balor is a former 2-time NXT Champion and was truly one of the most significant names in NXT. However, neither of his main roster runs proved to be memorable at all. That said, it appears Teddy Long believes Balor isn’t ready to be a World Champion in WWE.

For the majority of his time in WWE, Finn Balor has been a babyface and not a heel. Back in June last year, Finn Balor joined Judgement Day and ended up taking over the faction. They all kicked out Edge and shocked fans.

For the past couple of months, Finn Balor has been feuding with Seth Rollins in a bid to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Fans appreciate how Balor has been displaying more sides of himself throughout the feud.

While speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Wrestle Binge podcast, WWE Hall Of Famer Teddy Long talked about Finn Balor’s current run in WWE. Long made it clear that he believes Balor isn’t ready to be a World Champion in WWE.

“Seth Rollins. Like I said too, I like Finn; he is a great guy, man. But I just don’t think he is ready yet.”

WWE also has major plans for Seth Rollins and Finn Balor at SummerSlam. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether the Judgment Day member will pull off a major upset and beat Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
