Jim Ross used to be on every AEW Dynamite show, but his role with the company was diminished after that. Now, he is taking a break, but there is no sign that he plans on giving up the game totally.

One fan tweeted out to Jim Ross and begged him not to retire any time soon. This brought a response from the WWE Hall of Fame announcer, and it was one that this fan probably wanted to hear.

Jim Ross tweeted back along with a smiling face emoji wearing a cowboy hat to make his intentions very clear. He has no desire to hang up his hat any time soon.

Jim Ross has fans from all over the pro wrestling world, and his voice is one of the most famous in the history of the business. Only time will tell what is next for Jim Ross, but he is certainly not closing up shop right now.

Jim Ross did say that he was taking some time to heal. He appeared on AEW television, looking rough, with a black eye and raspy voice the last time we saw him on Collision. Hopefully, Jim Ross is feeling much better in no time, so he can get back to calling the action.
