CM Punk came out to cut a promo during AEW Collision. This was quite a moment on TNT, and Tony Schiavone was there to allow CM Punk an opportunity to speak his mind.

CM Punk brought up Wembley Stadium’s All In London event, and he made it very clear that what’s in the bag could have a lot to do with his match on August 27th.

Although Tony Schiavone asked about Ricky Starks, CM Punk went a different direction. He pulled out the AEW World Championship out of that bag, the same one with his name plate on it, and his blood on it as well. He declared himself champion, and this was an apparent shot at MJF.

CM Punk then spray painted an X on his title belt and raised it above his head. This was met with a big reaction from the Hartford crowd. Then Ricky Starks came out to join the segment.

This was a pretty big moment, and CM Punk made it very clear that he is the AEW World Champion because he’s “better than you.” Only time will tell how AEW books All In London, but this was certainly an interesting twist in the situation.
