Vince McMahon’s Recent Spinal Surgery Is Life-Altering

Vince McMahon might not be traveling like he used to, and that’s a good thing, because a recent surgery will change a lot for The Chairman. McMahon recently underwent spinal surgery, and that operation will change his life forever.

The 77-year-old went under the knife for a five-hour surgery last week. This was kept from the public until today, but it was also the reason why Vince McMahon wasn’t around WWE SmackDown or RAW in recent memory.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that sources have confirmed that Vince McMahon’s surgery will alter Vince McMahon’s life forever. At this time, it is unclear how this will affect his future work.

We’ve confirmed with WWE sources that the surgery took place last week, which kept him from doing any work on Smackdown on Raw after. Overall, the surgery is said to have been near five hours long, and those close to him claim that it was a “major, life altering operation” as it would be for anyone who underwent it.

We asked WWE if this would affect his work moving forward, and were not given a direct answer on that. However, we also learned that Triple H was not at WWE Raw this past Monday, and the show was ran by Bruce Prichard. However, Triple H is expected back imminently.

It was also noted that, “several talent that we spoke to said they had no idea about Vince McMahon’s surgery until it was made public.”

We’ll have to see how long it takes for Vince McMahon to make it back to a WWE event. With SummerSlam coming up very soon, it would be hard to keep him away. That being said, it might not be 100% possible this time around.
