Pretty Deadly were a breakout tag team in NXT, and they are arguably the most promising team on the roster right now. Sadly, Elton Prince went down with an injury, but he might not vanish entirely.

WWE called Pretty Deadly up to the main roster as part of the 2023 Draft. Pretty Deadly had quite a match this week with the Brawling Brutes, but things didn’t turn out too well for them. Elton Prince has a separated shoulder, but that only disqualifies him from in-ring competition.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Pretty Deadly might stay on television in some form, because Elton Prince was back on SmackDown after his injury.

Prince was said to be out of action for several months with a shoulder separation, but he was also back on SmackDown so it looks like he’ll be kept on TV in some form.

SmackDown was also in Orlando this last week, which is where Pretty Deadly are located. They moved to that area of the USA when they relocated from NXT UK, because that’s where the WWE Performance Center is. This is the reason why so many NXT talent were around for SmackDown last week.

Only time will tell what’s next for Pretty Deadly. They were on a roll, and gaining a lot of momentum, before Elton Prince’s injury. Hopefully, Triple H can figure something out to keep Prince on television as Kit Wilson picks up the work load in the ring.
