LA Knight Match & More Announced For SmackDown Next Week

WWE has one more episode of SmackDown next week before SummerSlam, and they already have a couple of big matches announced for the show.

Santos Escobar won a match against Rey Mysterio this week on SmackDown. That set up a United States Title match against Austin Theory new week.

It was not revealed what the stakes are for this new battle royal match at SummerSlam, but Slim Jim will be sponsoring the contest. After they announced the match, LA Knight and Sheamus had words with Adam Pearce about winning the match. Then they set up a contest for SmackDown in two weeks between the two of them.

Next week’s SmackDown will be the go-home episode before the company’s huge SummerSlam event in Detroit’s Ford Field. Only time will tell what WWE does to put a bow on things next week.
