Grayson Waller established himself as one of the must-see stars during his time in NXT. The Australian WWE Superstar is such a natural heel that people can’t help but hate him for real. Now it appears Waller claimed there is no difference between his WWE character and real-life personality.
The Australian star became one of the biggest heels in NXT thanks to his excellent character work and in-ring psychology during the matches. Therefore it was no surprise he was eventually called up to the main roster.
While speaking on Out of Character with Ryan Satin, Grayson Waller was asked about how much of his character fans see on TV is a reflection of his real-life personality. Waller claimed that there is no difference between his WWE character and real-life personality.
“I think if you ask anyone that knows me, they would say that there’s almost no difference. I don’t particularly think that I play anything. I think this is really just me, but obviously when the red light comes on, it’s a little bit amped up. But I don’t think there’s much difference at all.”
“Growing up and things like that, I was similar to everyone. Once I started getting into wrestling and that type of thing — once I realized I was good at it, too — that kind of changed things up for me.”
We will have to see what happens with Grayson Waller next. After all, he has a ton of eyes on him, and he continues to have all the momentum in the world right now.
