Santana & Ortiz Seemingly Back Together In AEW

Santana and Ortiz made their debut in AEW back in 2019 and almost instantly became one of the mainstays of AEW’s tag team division. Unfortunately, the two are no longer on good terms whatsoever. That said, it appears the two are seemingly back together in AEW again.

Santana sustained a knee injury during an episode of Dynamite in June of last year, while performing a uranage on Daniel Garcia during the Blood and Guts match. This caused him to take time off to recover from the injury.

Last year, it was reported that Santana might be thinking about leaving AEW. Santana was tweeting cryptic countdowns such as “126 days” and “Soon.” This led to fans believing he was done with AEW for good.

If one checks the official AEW roster page, it can be seen that both Santana and Ortiz are now listed as Proud and Powerful again, seemingly making it evident that they are back together.

Santana is expected to return to in-ring action and fans are excited for his return. Konnan also previously stated that he was trying to reunite Santana and Ortiz. Now it remains to be seen whether the two will return together on AEW television.
