Lita is a WWE Hall of Famer and has done a lot for the development of women’s pro wrestling in general. She had been a constant feature of WWE television for the past couple of months and fans were very happy about that fact. That being said, it appears Lita claimed she owes RVD an apology for an amusing reason.

Following her in-ring return back in 2018, Lita would go on to compete in two matches in 2022. This included her terrific performance in the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble match. After that, she squared off against Becky Lynch for the RAW Women’s Championship at Elimination Chamber 2022 but failed to beat Lynch.

She even won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles with Becky Lynch, but that did not last long enough. Since her WWE absence, Lita has been busy with other projects outside of the company.

Lita took to her Instagram story and was looking back on her first run with the company, sharing a clip from a match on ECW back in 2006. In the video, Lita pulled down the top rope and sent Rob Van Dam crashing to the floor below with a horrific landing. Lita then claimed that she owes RVD an apology for that move.

Lita is also off WWE television and fans might not see her for a long time. Regardless, only time will tell whether Lita will return to WWE again and have another program in the future.

What’s your view on what Lita said? Do you want to see her back on WWE television? Let us know in the comments!
