Kevin Nash has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the professional wrestling industry, having witnessed numerous changes and evolutions throughout his career. He has competed for several years and has played a role in many iconic moments. That being said, Nash had some criticism for AEW.

On the July 19 edition of AEW Dynamite, the company held its third-ever Blood & Guts match, which saw The Golden Elite squaring off against the Blackpool Combat Club in an ultraviolent match.

The Golden Elite would win the match after buckets of blood were spilt. While speaking on his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash stated that matches like Blood & Guts are why AEW can’t grow their audience.

“I think that what you do … What you do when you allow that much blood and that much spot fest, you paint yourself into a certain demographic that’s going to watch that program. They haven’t grown that audience. There’s a reason why they’re not growing the audience … while in the meantime, WWE is doing some really nice ratings.”

Kevin Nash is suffering from nerve compression and neck issues in general. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether AEW will be able to grow their audience somewhere down the line.
