Grayson Waller established himself as one of the top stars during his time in NXT. The Australian WWE Superstar is such a natural heel that people can’t help but hate him for real. He had a solid match with Edge on Smackdown earlier this month and it appears Waller disclosed the advice Edge gave him before the match.

As seen on a previous week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, Grayson Waller held another segment of ‘his talk show ‘The Grayson Waller Effect’ and his special guest was none other than WWE Hall Of Famer Edge.

The segment eventually led to a match between the two, where Edge stated it was a sink-or-swim situation for Waller. Edge would go on to defeat Waller but then told the Australian star that he swam.

While speaking on the Out of Character podcast, Grayson Waller talked about his match with The Rated R Superstar. Waller then revealed the important advice Edge gave him just before the match.

“I think the main thing is he said to enjoy it. I think a lot of times, we get caught up in what this is. Sometimes, you’re looking back on what you did rather than staying in the moment. I thought that was really strong advice. There were a few moments there during the match where I kinda just stopped and looked out.”

Recently, reports have suggested that WWE is pitching a major match for the Australian star. With the WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event just around the corner, we’ll have to wait and see what WWW will have planned for the Australian star.

What’s your view on what Grayson Waller said? Do you believe he has a bright future on Friday Night Smackdown? Let us know in the comments!
