The Street Profits are one of WWE’s most popular tag teams, and the duo have showed zero signs of a real split so far. That being said, nothing lasts forever, and many fans have wondered when WWE will pull the trigger on their breakup. According to Angelo Dawkins, he is not going to hold his tag team partner back if Montez Ford wants a singles run in WWE.

The Street Profits have been an inseparable tag team partnership since 2016. Over the years, this beloved duo has achieved remarkable success, securing the RAW, SmackDown, and NXT Tag Team Championships.

During the 513 Podcast, Angelo Dawkins was asked about a Street Profits breakup. He knows that Montez Ford has wanted to be a singles star in WWE for his entire life. Dawkins came into WWE later on in life, so he’s happy being a tag team specialist. That being said, he’s not going to stop Ford from doing his thing either.

“We just wanna go out there and be the best that we can be,” Dawkins stated. “I know he’s wanted to do it since he was a little kid, be like singles champion and WWE Champion since he was a little kid. Me? I’m just happy to be Tag Team Champions as well. But, I mean, I ain’t gonna hold you, sometimes I do look at those [world] titles and I’m like, ‘I can win that.'”

Fans might have noticed their absence from WWE television. The Street Profits’ last match on WWE TV was on the June 23 episode of SmackDown, where they faced Pretty Deadly. Since then, they have not been featured in the wrestling programming, leaving fans eager for their return to the ring.

Only time will tell what is next for the Street Profits. They still have a ton of fans, but they also might be due for a heel turn, or something else, to add longevity to their team. Or, Montez Ford can finally go off on his own.
