WWE has seen many great stables in the company’s history, and there is no doubt that the New Day stands apart from the rest. Sadly, the shoo-in WWE Hall of Fame stable hasn’t been seen for a while, thanks to Kofi Kingston and Big E’s injuries. That being said, their story is far from finished.

In a recent interview with Josh Martinez for Superstar Crossover, WWE Superstar Xavier Woods delved into the present situation of The New Day. He addressed the challenges they are facing, with Kofi Kingston currently sidelined due to injury and Big E still in the process of recovering from a neck injury he suffered last year. Here are some key highlights from the interview.

“So we haven’t been on TV in a minute, what, like, a month, two months? The thing that people don’t see is all the stuff that we do outside of the ring. So we have been working relentlessly on so many other things. So we’ll be back in due time, we’ll be back in due time. If you look at wrestling, the landscape has changed.”

Xavier Woods has also seen a lot in the pro wrestling landscape. Obviously, things aren’t the same as when he started decades ago. When it comes to those huge shifts in momentum throughout the pro wrestling world, Woods is all about it.

“I love when it changes because it comes at a slow pace, and then all of a sudden, you see all these faces are faces that have only been there for like six months, or a year, or a year-and-a-half. That’s what’s kind of happening right now. So many people are filtering in. So, as people filter in and they get established, and the crowd gets to know who they are, then all of a sudden, New Day *claps* we back on the attack.”

Only time will tell what is next for Xavier Woods. If he wins a major title in WWE, you know that Big E and Kofi Kingston would be by his side the entire time. Now, it seems that they are going to return, and we can only hope that wait isn’t too long.

The New Day entertained fans for a very long time. We will have to see what’s in their future. If anything, fans will certainly be entertained.
