WWE Hall Of Famer ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper was a true legend in the world of professional wrestling and one of the mainstays of WWE in the 80s and early 90s. He had a larger-than-life character and there is a good reason for it. That said, it appears Jake Roberts addressed claims against Piper that he didn’t put talent over.

One of the greatest wrestlers who knew how to make fans mad was certainly Roddy Piper. He was simply so good at being a heel, it is no surprise some people have tried to hurt him.

While speaking with Brown on The Snake Pit, Jake Roberts talked about Roddy Piper’s feud with Bad News Brown, which was controversial for a multitude of reasons. Roberts ripped Piper for refusing to put over Brown.

“I never was one to play that drama s**t, man,” said Roberts. “Never was. Maybe I should have been, but I wasn’t … [But] I heard that he [Piper] wouldn’t lay down for anybody, which to me is just ridiculous. It is a work, man! If your s**t isn’t good enough to sustain you through doing a job for somebody, your s**t must be pretty damn weak.”

Roddy Piper was also paid in cocaine for match once. His legacy will always be remembered and his contributions will never be forgotten and that is all that matters in the end.
