Cody Rhodes Will ‘Do Something’ For WWE NXT Great American Bash

Cody Rhodes came back to WWE at WrestleMania 38 last year and wasted no time in making an impact after defeating Seth Rollins in his return match. Rhodes is one of the biggest names in Vince McMahon’s company right now. Now it appears he will do something for the NXT Great American Bash event.

The American Nightmare immediately began feuding with Brock Lesnar after WrestleMania 39. They both have one win over each order and will now battle it out in their trilogy match at SummerSlam.

This week’s episode of NXT is the go-home episode going into NXT Great American Bash on Sunday, July 30th. For now, there are three title matches scheduled for the show and one non-title.

While speaking on SI Media With Jimmy Traina, Cody Rhodes revealed that he will be doing something for the NXT Great American Bash event next week.

I have something going on every hour. Whether you’re doing some media, whether you’re doing stuff in pretapes. I don’t know when this will air but, I don’t think anyone will be mad. I’m gonna do something for NXT Great American Bash here. I think maybe it’s just a voiceover but, getting ready to do that.

With Cody Rhodes’ father Dusty Rhodes creating the Great American Bash event name, it comes as no surprise Cody Rhodes will be involved in the event somehow. We’ll have to see whether it will just be a voiceover or more,
