Cody Rhodes has been booked as a massive star since his return to WWE last year. Rhodes’ first foe was none other than Seth Rollins, but they have moved on from their feud. That said, it appears Cody Rhodes has no intention of ever wrestling Seth Rollins again.
After returning to WWE at WrestleMania 38, Cody Rhodes wasted no time feuding with Seth Rollins. Their three encounters were highly entertaining, with Rhodes defeating Seth Rollins every time.
The two would revisit their rivalry again during the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. Rhodes and Rollins faced each other in the match before Logan Paul ended up eliminating Seth Rollins.
While speaking with Chris Van Vliet, Cody Rhodes talked about his relationship with Seth Rollins. Rhodes admitted the two don’t see eye to eye and that he has no intention of ever wrestling The Visionary again.
“Seth and I are not friends. It does not look like we are ever heading towards friendship. There’s been some flirtation with it, don’t think it’s going to happen that day. All that aside, if I ever write a book one day, a whole chapter will be about how good that guy is. He’s super-valued to WWE, and he’s still undervalued, in my opinion.
Having Monday nights with him and I in a nice competitive, ‘Who’s the guy?’ without ever having to be in the ring with each other, I couldn’t ask for a better sparring partner in that sense. I don’t want to wrestle Seth ever again. But that day, he made a decision that’s very important.”
This goes against what Cody Rhodes had to say regarding his relationship with Seth Rollins a while ago. Regardless, we will have to wait and see if the two will ever cross paths again.
