Seth Rollins is undoubtedly one of the top stars in WWE right now, and he has gone through numerous changes in the past few years. His accolades speak for themselves and he continues to be a top performer. Now it appears Rollins paid tribute to Rey Mysterio during a recent WWE live event.
The Visionary made a name for himself in the independent circuit in promotions such as Ring Of Honor, before he made his way to WWE and became the global sensation that he is today.
Seth Rollins and Rey Mysterio are certainly no strangers to each other, as they had a longstanding feud back in 2020. This included an eye for an eye match at Extreme Rules that year.
During the WWE live event at Monterrey, Seth Rollins shared the ring with Rey Mysterio. He would then proceed to cut a promo on the Master of the 619 and called him the greatest luchador ever.
“Thank you for everything you’ve done for me, and for everyone else in the history of this business. We love you. You’re the best.”
WWE also has major plans for Seth Rollins as far as his SummerSlam opponent is concerned. Regardless, we will have to wait and see how WWE will continue to book Rollins and Finn Balor’s feud in the coming weeks.
