AEW doesn’t have time for every star on their roster each week. Aaron Solow hasn’t been featured for a bit, but that doesn’t change his status with Tony Khan’s company.

Aaron Solo has provided clarity on his contract status, shedding light on the specifics of how and when he joined Tony Khan’s company. This should clear up any rumors about his status.

Solo made his first appearances for AEW in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic around mid-2020. During this period, he mainly competed in enhancement roles on programs like Dark and Dark Elevation.

In a recent interview on Talk is Jericho, Solo looked back on his early days with AEW and disclosed the moment he signed his contract. He also revealed that a prominent AEW personality played a significant role in facilitating his entry into the company.

So I remember we had to do the spit test for COVID, especially with the west coast guys before we flew out and I was turning in my test at FedEx and I had an email from CD (Christopher Daniels) and it said, ‘Congratulations on your hard work. We’re offering you a contract. Here it is.

“If you accept it then sign it and send it back’ and all that and yeah, it’s funny because I remember that day and I remember being so excited signing it and then I was just kind of sitting in my bed afterwards.

“But I had romanticized this entire thing for years because it took me 11 years before I got an official contract and I romanticized this thing of going into this big office and shaking everyone’s hand and all that…

“Not at all (was it this big romanticized moment). Regardless, it still gave me what I wanted so, it’s okay that my big, romanticized signing of the contract didn’t happen but…”

Aaron Solow was initially introduced as a member of Cody Rhodes’ Nightmare Family, Aaron Solo later aligned himself with QT Marshall and joined The Factory, a breakout heel group from the Nightmare Factory. Subsequently, he became part of the faction’s spin-off known as QTV.

Although Solo’s initial journey did not live up to his expectations, the 34-year-old has experienced a notable increase in his prominence within the promotion ever since the formation of the QTV faction.

Only time will tell what is next for Aaron Solow, who also happens to be Bayley’s ex-boyfriend, but AEW fans have been pretty entertained by what he’s brought to the table so far.

What’s your take on Aaron Solow in AEW? Should Tony Khan give him a better push? Sound off in the comments to let us know what you think!
