The Gunns React To Billy Gunn Seemingly Retiring On AEW Collision

The Gunns have established themselves as the top heels in AEW’s tag team division. That being said, they are still Billy Gunn’s sons and they have a great deal of respect for their father. Now it appears they reacted to Gunn seemingly retiring on AEW television.

As seen on this week’s episode of AEW Collision, The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn squared off against The House Of Black. Despite their best efforts, The Acclaimed could not defeat their opponents.

Following their loss, Billy Gunn removed his boots and left them in the middle of the ring. Gunn seemed very emotional during the scene as he unlaced his boots while the crowd chanted, “You still got it” at the WWE Hall Of Famer.

After the segment, his real-life sons Austin and Colten Gunn took to Twitter and sent emotional messages to their father, while still retaining some measure of kayfabe.

We will have to see what becomes of this storyline for the WWE Hall of Famer. Should he actually retire, then Gunn will have left behind a legacy that will be remembered forever.
