WWE offers their Superstars a great opportunity to perform in front of millions. Sadly, nothing lasts forever. That being said, you can never say never in pro wrestling.

WWE is preparing for its grand SummerSlam premium live event in Detroit, but the pro wrestling world is full of action. Meanwhile, former United States and Intercontinental Champion, Santino Marella, made a triumphant return to the televised singles competition after a hiatus of over nine years.

Santino Marella’s last televised WWE match took place in 2014 when he faced Rusev on an episode of Main Event. Following his departure from WWE, Marella focused on various projects outside the company, including running his own gym called Battle Arts Academy.

During this period, Santino Marella continued his wrestling journey on the independent circuit and participated in matches at Battle Arts Academy. Additionally, he made an appearance on IMPACT Wrestling last year and became a part of the company’s roster since Sacrifice 2022. Recently, IMPACT Wrestling announced Santino Marella’s much-anticipated in-ring return, marking an exciting comeback for the beloved wrestler.
