Dominik Mysterio Makes History After WWE SmackDown

Dominik Mysterio’s character growth is nothing short of remarkable, as he wasn’t taken seriously as a babyface. His fortune changed after he turned to the dark side and is now one of the biggest heels in Vince McMahon’s company. Now it appears he made history after SmackDown this week.

As seen on this week’s episode of NXT, Dominik Mysterio challenged Wes Lee for the NXT North American Championship. Mysterio ended up winning the match with help from The Judgment Day. Thus, Dominik Mysterio became the new NXT North American Champion.

Mysterio has become the first person to have the main event match on Raw, SmackDown, and NXT, all within the same week. He competed a tag team match with Damian Priest against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens on RAW.

Mysterio also defended his NXT North American Championship against Butch in the main event of SmackDown this week. Needless to say, Dominik Mysterio is truly coming into his own as a WWE Superstar. We’ll have to wait and see what’s next in store for him.
