Former ROH World Champion Rush signed a contract with AEW after various appearances last year. Since then, he has become a valuable asset to Tony Khan’s company. That said, it appears Rush broke his silence amidst rumors of his AEW exit.

As previously reported, Rush announced that both he and his father had quit working for AAA and are back to being independents. In fact, he put AAA in a very difficult situation due to his decision.

While Rush remains absent from AEW television, reports have suggested that there is uncertainty over his status in AEW, especially due to WWE being interested in signing him.

Rush took to Twitter amidst all the AEW exit rumors, making it clear that he is reading everything that is said online and adding that fans should wait until he makes his next move.

You will hear from me very soon,
just remember
nothing happens unless I say so..

Rush last appeared on the May 26 episode of AEW Rampage, where he teamed with Dralistico and Preston Vance, and they lost to Acclaimed and Billy Gunn. Regardless, we’ll have to wait and see when Rush will be able to return to AEW television, should he want to.
