Pro wrestling is a very hard profession to retire from. It seems that the wrestling bug can bite when you least expect it, especially for those who said that they are hanging up their boots. Now, the former Aiden English is coming back to the ring, and he’s looking for dates.

The man who was known during his WWE days as Aiden English, and he was part of the Vaudevillains as well as Rusev Day, Matthew Rehwoldt maintained a notable presence in the wrestling industry. He has a few different skills from singing to commentary to wrestling that could come in handy. He is also a fan of fine whiskey, and he has vlogged about that a few times as well.

After transitioning from the ring, he found his place behind the commentary desk, lending his voice to IMPACT Wrestling, NJPW STRONG, and various independent promotions like Wrestling Revolver. Matt Rehwoldt’s versatility as a capable commentator allowed him to adeptly play the heel role while still holding onto his principles, occasionally siding with the babyfaces.

Although he had made a few in-ring appearances for IMPACT Wrestling, it seemed that Rehwoldt’s active wrestling days were behind him when he announced his in-ring retirement in 2022. Now, that isn’t the case anymore.

However, surprising his fans, on July 20th, Matt Rehwoldt took to Twitter to announce his return from retirement. He revealed his intention to be available for wrestling bookings throughout the rest of 2023, leaving fans eager to see him back in action inside the squared circle.

It’s official… I will be taking WRESTLING bookings again on a limited basis through the end of the year! (Including Vaudevillains matches?

) Available to: – Wrestle – Meet & Greet – Commentary/Host – Manage/Mouthpiece Like/RT DramaKingMatt@gmail.com Where to first?

Only time will tell how much time the former Aiden English sees in the ring. After all, it’s all up to the people who book those indie wrestling events at this point. Hopefully, his inbox fills up in no time, as promoters try to book him for their event.
