WWE is preparing for a big SmackDown in Orlando, and that could bring some interesting names to the show. It seems that Big E is going to be around, but that is no guarantee that he will appear during the show.

Big E was injured as a German suplex from Ridge Holland went wrong. He broke his neck, but Big E did not require surgery. There is always hope that he will make a return to WWE television in some form or fashion, but he has also been helping with the company’s recruiting efforts as well.

PW Insider noted that Big E is backstage at SmackDown his week. He got there in the early afternoon, so the former World Champion is in the building.

Former WWE Champion Big E was seen entering tonight’s Smackdown taping about an hour or so ago in Orlando, Florida.

The report also noted that there is currently “no word whether he is appearing in some fashion on the broadcast.” Only time will tell if Big E shows up, but he might just be around since they are in Orlando.

Keep checking back with Ringside News as we continue monitoring this ongoing situation. Anything can happen in WWE, and that includes a surprise return when we least expect it.

Big E has been out of action for well over a year now, but do you ever think he will wrestl again after suffering a broken neck? Sound off in the comments to let us know what you think!
