As previously reported, the official Iron Sheik Twitter account confirmed The Iron Sheik passed away on June 7th. Reports stated that he was 81 years old at the time of his passing.

According to TMZ, the late wrestler’s death certificate revealed that he died of cardiac arrest. The report added that he also suffered from congestive heart failure and hypertension before he passed away. His death was also ruled to be completely natural.

The Iron Sheik’s last-ever tweet showed love for Bret Hart. Even Hulk Hogan broke his silence after his legendary rival passed away.
