LA Knight is getting a ton of attention right now in WWE. It turns out that fans elsewhere also know what kind of talent the former Eli Drake has in him. He heard his name during AEW Dynamite coming from those passionate Boston fans, and he had to comment.
LA Knight recently responded to an enthusiastic chant for him during the AEW Dynamite Blood & Guts event on July 19th. After the AEW taping at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, footage emerged of passionate fans cheering for LA Knight outside the venue.
In the video, a fan asks the crowd around him whose game it is, to which the crowd collectively responds with a resounding “LA Knight yeah!”
The onscreen caption accompanying the video humorously pointed out that LA Knight’s popularity has soared to the point where he’s even getting chants at AEW events.
LA Knight took notice of the video and shared it on his Instagram story, acknowledging the overwhelming support from fans.
Since his debut on the main roster last year, the SmackDown star has experienced a significant surge in popularity. Many of his devoted fans were hoping for him to win the Money in the Bank ladder match on July 1. However, that didn’t come to fruition as Damian Priest emerged as the victor, claiming the coveted briefcase. Nevertheless, LA Knight’s growing fanbase continues to rally behind him, both in WWE and even at AEW events, making him a standout star in the wrestling world.
We will have to see what’s next for LA Knight. He obviously has a ton of momentum at this rate. Only time will tell how far he goes in WWE, or whether he ends up with a title around his shoulder as well.
