AEW could be going through quite a change on their roster, especially if they aren’t able to keep their EVPs in the company once again. It seems that we fans won’t have much of an answer about what is going to happen next for a while.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer spoke about the possibility of The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega taking off to AEW. After all, Cody Rhodes departed from the company and found a great spot in WWE.
It was noted that fans likely won’t know what the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega are doing for a while. That being said, AEW’s current booking direction should not be an indication that things are going to work out between the Elite and AEW.
We won’t know anything until November or December, unless they sign before then, because Tony Khan is trying to get them to re-sign right now. Because until they re-sign there’s a million things that can happen in the next few months.
AEW obviously doesn’t want to lose more EVPs, and Tony Khan will probably offer the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega amazing contracts to stick around. Only time will tell if those deals will be enough to keep all three of them around. Then again, Adam “Hangman” Page’s contract with AEW is also a big matter of contention.
What’s your take on AEW’s current contract situation? Should The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega give WWE a try? Sound of off in the comments to let us know what you’re thinking!
