WWE is always shifting things around, and the card is always subject to change. This was certainly the case this week on NXT, as Dominik Mysterio beat Wes Lee to become the new NXT North American Champion. This move also meant that a scheduled match isn’t going to happen.

WWE star Mustafa Ali has responded to the recent development of his original match at NXT The Great American Bash being changed in light of Tuesday’s title change. In anticipation of the July 30th NXT special, Ali had publicly called out Wes Lee, issuing a challenge for the North American Championship.

NXT then confirmed that Wes Lee would defend his title against Ali at the upcoming premium live event. However, in a surprising twist, Dominik Mysterio beat Wes Lee for the North American Championship during the July 18th episode of NXT, with interference from the Judgment Day faction.

While taking to Twitter, Mustafa Ali has now shared his reaction to this unexpected title change, expressing his thoughts on the unforeseen turn of events. As the wrestling world awaits his response, Ali’s post has sparked intrigue among fans and fellow competitors, heightening the anticipation for what’s to come in this evolving storyline.

Im gonna beat his ass

Mustafa Ali is obviously not happy about how things turned out in the NXT North American Championship match turned out. After all, he had a backstage segment with Wes Lee about the very idea that he doesn’t want to fight Dominik Mysterio at the Great American Bash on July 30th.

Obviously, Mustafa Ali isn’t happy about this booking change. Only time will tell how WWE books the next couple of weeks for NXT, because Wes Lee could always turn that match into a triple threat.

Dominik Mysterio’s first singles title was in NXT after all, what do you think about that? Sound off in the comments to let us know what you think!
