Dominik Mysterio never had a run in NXT, because he jumped right to the main roster. Things changed this week as Rey Mysterio’s son made a big splash in the company’s developmental brand.

NXT ended this week with a North American Title match. Dominik Mysterio faced off against Wes Lee in a match that saw a few interesting twists.

In the end, Dominik Mysterio won the NXT North American Title match. This was done in controversial fashion, but Judgment Day wouldn’t have it any other way.

NXT hasn’t seen much from Dominik Mysterio yet, but odds are giving him the North American Title will help boost the brand. If anything, it will ensure that Dominik Mysterio returns to NXT for, at least, another match or two.
