Chelsea Green debuted on the main roster on Friday Night Smackdown back in 2018. Unfortunately, her time in the company was marred by a series of injuries and she was subsequently fired. Green eventually found her way back to WWE earlier this year and now it appears she joined a very exclusive club after winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW.
Chelsea Green’s return to WWE during the Royal Rumble this year was met with lot of positive reception. Since her return, Chelsea Green has been part of Monday Night RAW, where she has been portraying the role of a ‘Karen.’
She has been teaming up with Sonya Deville on WWE television. They challenged Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles on RAW this week. Shockingly enough, Green and Deville won the match and became the new champions.
With this win, Chelsea Green becomes the fourth woman in history to have held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships and IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Championships. The first two women to achieve this feat was The IIconics, who captured the WWE Women’s Tag Titles at WrestleMania 35 in 2019.
Zelina Vega joined the club by winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships with Carmella in November 2021. Vega was previously a Knockouts Tag Team Champion as Rosita.
We will have to wait and see how Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville will be booked as the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles in the coming weeks.
