There is no doubt that Bryan Danielson is one of the most established names in the world of professional wrestling right now. He is also viewed as a very harmless vegan outside the squared circle and largely maintains that image as well. Now it appears he hasn’t been backstage in AEW after his injury.

The American Dragon’s in-ring prowess is second to none, as he continues to put on banger after banger on AEW television every single week. He remains a respected member of the AEW locker room no matter what.

Bryan Danielson faced off against Kazuchika Okada in the main event of the Forbidden Door event and had a terrific match that came as no surprise to fans. Brie Bella, Bryan Danielson’s wife, revealed that Danielson had a complete break and that his injury was worse than initially thought.

While speaking on the AEW Blood & Guts and ROH Death Before Dishonor media call, Tony Khan talked about Danielson’s status. Khan provided an update on Bryan, also saying that the injury is ‘a bit’ worse than initially believed. Khan further added that Danielson hasn’t been coming to shows or meetings since the injury.

It is expected he will be out of action for well over 6-8 weeks, so we’ll have to see when Danielson will be able to make his in-ring return and kick people’s heads in again.
