WWE Waiting To Determine Bayley’s Condition After Injury

Bayley went down with an injury at a recent WWE live event. This was not a part of the plan, and there are a lot of questions right now. Suddenly, IYO Sky and Bayley’s plans are up in the air.

Bayley’s situation happened while she was trying to do a leap frog move over Asuka. It’s really unclear what the spot was supposed to be, because everything fell apart, and Bayley tumbled.

Bayley was taken to the back after they wrapped up the match without her. Needless to say, this was not what anyone wanted for the current Miss Money in the Bank angle with IYO Sky.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that Bayley’s condition has not been determined yet. They are waiting for swelling to go down before really making a call on what needs to be done.

For those asking about an update on Bayley, here’s what we’ve heard. As seen on social media, Bayley was icing her knee after the match, and the ref threw up the “X.” She left the venue limping, but without crutches. WWE sources told us they’d likely need to wait for any swelling to go down before finding out what was wrong, but that her leaving without crutches was a good sign. 

Bayley was seen leaving the WWE live event on her own, but she was limping. Hopefully, that is a good sign.

Bayley might have plans for SummerSlam. After all, that is a pretty hard show to get on at this point. Only time will tell what they do creatively, but we might know tonight on WWE RAW.
