Roman Reigns has established himself as one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time. The Tribal Chief has dominated the competition since his return back in 2020. Reigns is truly infallible at this rate and records simply remain to be broken by him. Now it appears that he crossed an unfortunate WWE milestone recently.
After crossing 1,000 days as champion, Reigns was presented with a new championship. Of course, Reigns is still determined to break more and more records. The Tribal Chief surpassed 1,042 days as champion a couple of days ago, as he became the longest-reigning champion in WWE history since the creation of WrestleMania in 1985.
His long reign has been attributed to him rarely defending his Titles. His last defended his titles against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39 Sunday. It was then revealed that The Head Of The Table hasn’t defended his titles in 104 days.
Roman Reigns might have defended his Titles against Rey Mysterio at a house show on June 17, this was an untelevised match with no real build. Regardless, it’s likely he will be defending the titles against Jey Uso at SummerSlam. We’ll have to wait and see if Roman will be able to retain his titles against his cousin.
