The Undertaker’s contributions to the pro wrestling world will never be forgotten. He has been part of numerous memorable matches and iconic moments in the pro wrestling world. That being said, it appears Sgt. Slaughter claimed that The Undertaker hung up on him thrice when he tried to contact him about the latter’s Hall Of Fame ceremony.

The Undertaker was finally inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame earlier this last year. It was an emotional speech that left many fans tearing up. He was inducted by Vince McMahon as well.

Sgt. Slaughter and The Undertaker’s friendship goes all the way back to The Phenom’s WWE debut back in the 1990s. Slaughter has gone on record to state that he helped Taker join Vince McMahon’s company.

While speaking on WrestleBinge, Sgt. Slaughter talked about not receiving an invite to The Undertaker’s Hall of Fame ceremony. He claimed that The Deadman hung up on him thrice.

“If you’re listening, Mark Calaway. I just want to ask you one thing; I found you in a box of tapes. Sgt. Slaughter found you in a box of tapes, and I called you three times because the first few times, you hung up on me because you didn’t believe it was me. But finally, I gave him the office number, and I said ask for me when you call this number. And he said, ‘Oh, it is you.’ I said, ‘Yeah, it is me.’

Guess who you didn’t invite to the Hall of Fame? Me! Sgt. Slaughter, the guy that found him, the guy that brought him to Vince McMahon and said, here’s the guy. This is your guy. Can you imagine not being invited to his Hall of Fame? I should have been in the front row.”

Sgt. Slaughter took credit for Yokozuna’s character as well. Regardless, the Undertaker truly loves the business, and his farewell speech was certainly a proper sendoff to the legendary pro wrestler. The Deadman has earned a well-deserved life after retirement, and that’s all that matters to him right now.

What’s your opinion on what Sgt. Slaughter had to say? Do you think The Undertaker should have invited him to the Hall Of Fame? Sound off in the comments!
