AEW has a lot of things in the pipeline, with All In London and All Out coming up in rapid fashion. The company is also booking an interesting situation for MJF as he goes for the AEW World Tag Team Titles alongside Adam Cole.
Adam Cole and MJF were placed in a tag team as part of the blind tag team tournament. They’ve done well so far, and they even have merchandise, because they’re better than you, bay-bay. All good things must come to an end.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that MJF and Adam Cole are going to face each other in the end. The AEW World Title will be on the line, and the company will have to make a real decision about who’s going to play which role.
“In the end, it’s gonna be MJF vs Adam Cole, so they can’t both be the cool babyface.”
MJF made a fine champion so far, but the real question is whether he will become a tag team champion alongside Adam Cole. That would be quite an interesting pairing, but if they won the championships, it would also seemingly prolong their alliance.
AEW has All In London and All Out literally back-to-back, so Tony Khan might do some quick booking. After all, tickets for All Out in Chicago are already selling very well, and it’s likely to be a packed house, even if he waits to announce the full card.
