Ryback’s reputation continues to plummet, and no one wants to have anything to do with him now. This is especially because of how he has been acting on social media over the past seven years. Ryback has been calling out Goldberg for a match and it appears Jeff Jarrett believes Ryback’s pro wrestling return will sell tickets.
Ryback announced that he is set to return to the ring after long hiatus. Due to this, Ryback previously called out Goldberg for a retirement match. He doubled down on his desire to face the WWE Hall of Famer as well.
Ryback has been making headlines for quite a few reasons. All the while, Ryback has been hyping up his return despite negative backlash. Clearly, Ryback knows how people view him in general.
While speaking on an Ask Me Anything edition of “My World,” a fan asked Jarrett about the possibility of Ryback returning to pro wrestling. Jarrett stated that he believes Ryback’s pro wrestling return will sell tickets in the end.
“In this day and age, we’ll go back to our social media. He’s obviously polarizing. That sells tickets. That’s it. I just think it’s really that simple … It’s funny how the opinions can become so polarizing as if that’s a bad thing.”
AEW President Tony Khan also confirmed he has talked to Goldberg recently. It remains to be seen whether Ryback will get his wish and face off against Goldberg at AEW All In in August.
