Impact Wrestling held their Slammiversary event, and you never know who might show up. It turns out that Eric Young went home after another hiatus from the former TNA.
It was previously reported that Eric Young is in town for Impact Wrestling’s Slammiversary event. It seems that the question about his WWE status has been answer.
It was previously reported that WWE signed Eric Young to a new deal in November 2022, but he never debuted again. He was working backstage, learning a bit there, but then things changed.
In April 2023, Eric Young requested his release from WWE, which was granted, and he completed his 90-day no-compete clause just last week. According to sources within WWE, Young’s request for release coincided with the announcement of Endeavor’s deal with WWE. It is believed that Young’s decision was not a coincidence, as he expressed a desire not to work with Vince McMahon after the Endeavor deal was made public and it became apparent that McMahon would be involved in an official capacity once again.
Eric Young returned during Slammiversary. Eric Young made his return to Impact Wrestling, teaming with Scott D’Amore to defeat Bully Ray and Deaner at Impact Slammiversary.
We will have to see what’s next for Eric Young, but he is off to a great start once again. For more on this story, and many more stay tuned to Ringside News. Please check out the comments below to post your opinion!
