AEW has a loaded roster full of people looking to make their mark on the business. They also include stars from every walk of life, but they can’t find time for everyone.

Sonny Kiss recently spoke with Matt Cullen of Our Queer Life about her run with the company so far. The first question Kiss would be asked is if her being openly trans-feminine affected her career.

Kind of. There have definitely been some shifts in the booking. It happens naturally. It’s not even always about that. I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I thought sometimes it was about that.

AEW has featured Sonny Kiss a few times in recent memory, but his booking on television isn’t what it used to be at all. He used to have a partnership with Joey Janela, but that turned sour as well. Now, it appears that Sonny Kiss hasn’t given up hope that he will be back on AEW television soon enough.

AEW has a lot of things going at the same time. They also have an inclusive roster. That doesn’t mean that they have to book someone due to their LGBTQ affiliation. Only time will tell if AEW finds another featured spot for Sonny Kiss down the line.

Sonny Kiss has a lot of potential still, but some fans might have a hard time accepting them. That seems to be fine, as they continue their journey in AEW. For more on this story, and many more, stay tuned with us here at Ringside News.
