WWE saw Sasha Banks and Naomi walk out of the company last May, and they have since ended up in different companies. That being said, the two are still very close friends.

Impact Wrestling’s upcoming Slammiversary pay-per-view is set to go down, and July 15th’s event will see an unexpected name backstage. Mercedes Mone might be injured, but she is still going to be able to support her friends.

Trinity Fatu will have a big night at Slammiversary. She will battle Deonna Purrazzo for the Knockouts Title.

PW Insider noted that Mercedes Mone is expected to be at Impact Wrestling’s Slammiversary pay-per-view on Saturday. She won’t be appearing on camera, but she will be there to support Trinity.

Mercedes Mone aka the former Sasha Banks is expected to be in attendance at tomorrow’s Slammiversary PPV in Windsor, Ontario, PWInsider.com has confirmed.  The belief among those we’ve spoken with is that Mone is coming to the event in support of Trinity and would not likely be appearing on camera.  Mone and WWE’s Tamina were in attendance when Trinity debuted for the promotion, while Trinity and Bayley traveled to New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Wrestle Kingdom in Tokyo to be there for Mone when she made her first appearance for the company.

We previously reported that there is already a plan in place for Mercedes Mone in NJPW whenever she returns to action. She is currently out of action with an ankle injury.

Trinity was in attendance when Mercedes Mone made her NJPW debut at Wrestle Kingdom. Then Mone was there for Trinity’s big debut for Impact Wrestling some time later.

It’s good to see that Mercedes Mone and Trinity Fatu are still close. After all, they are both outside WWE because they walked out together. For more on this story, and so many more, stay tuned with us here at Ringside News.
