Britt Baker Really Wants A Women’s Blood & Guts Match In AEW

Britt Baker has worked very hard to improve herself and become one of the best female wrestlers in AEW. It was a slow and gradual process as fans initially rejected her entirely. She is no stranger to hardcore matches and it appears that Baker wants a women’s Blood & Guts match in AEW.

Britt Baker is a former AEW Women’s Champion who truly become a star thanks to her Lights Out match against Thunder Rosa back in 2021. The iconic visual of her bloody face remains an integral part of her character.

After that, quite a few women have competed in hardcore matches in AEW that have seen them bleed. Therefore, AEW is never afraid of having women show off their brutal side.

While speaking on Mark Andrews: My Love Letter To Wrestling, Britt Baker talked about the future of the AEW women’s division. Baker made it clear she wants a women’s Blood & Guts match in AEW.

“Blood & Guts would be awesome, to have a women’s match in Blood & Guts,” Baker said. “I hope, before I retire, that’s a regular feature of the Blood & Guts show. Just to have the female presence, I think that would be such a spectacle. We have some crazy girls in AEW that would be willing to really put their bodies on the line, and I think that match would really, really deliver.

It’s not that the women aren’t talented enough to do it, it’s just we are so lucky that we have so many of the best wrestlers in the world.”

We will have to wait and see whether AEW will eventually have women compete in a Blood & Guts match, as fans would certainly love to see such a violent match with the women.
