Belief That Dominik Mysterio Will Become A World Champion In WWE

Dominik Mysterio’s character growth is nothing short of remarkable, as he wasn’t taken seriously as a babyface. His fortune changed after he turned to the dark side and is now one of the biggest heels in Vince McMahon’s company. Now it appears some believe he will become a World Champion in WWE.

Following a brief stint in jail as part of his storyline, Dominik Mysterio came back as Prison Dom. Fans and peers alike have finally accepted Dominik Mysterio as the dastardly heel that he is.

The 26-year-old is undoubtedly one of the highlights of Monday Night RAW, as they shower him with boos no matter what he does. Naturally, he has a bright future ahead of him in WWE.

While speaking with Muscle Man Malcolm, Konnan was asked if Dominik Mysterio might become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion one day. Konnan made it clear he definitely believes that will happen.

“You’ve seen he’s getting better in the ring, he’s more confident. He’s been in what, two years, and he’s got great, great heat and a good gimmick. So I could see him [as world champion] in the future, not now, definitely (…) he already knows the business. He’s second-generation, he was there when he was a little boy. They obviously like him, and they love The Judgment Day because they do run RAW.”

Dominik Mysterio is set to square off against Wes Lee for the NXT North American Championship on next week’s episode of NXT. We’ll have to wait and see how the match will turn out and whether Dominik Mysterio will end up winning the match.
