Seth Rollins’ Planned Opponent for WWE SummerSlam

Seth Rollins is the Visionary of WWE and has done a lot for the business since his debut in the company more than a decade ago. He has been consistently booked as a strong champion and fans continue to wonder who his net challenger will be. Now it appears his opponent for WWE SummerSlam has been revealed.

The Visionary has been feuding with Finn Balor for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. It has further intensified every single week, as Balor has made it clear he wants revenge on Rollins for what happened back at SummerSlam 2016.

While Finn Balor was unable to defeat Seth Rollins for the title at the WWE Money In The Bank Premium Live Event, it was clear the Judgment Day member was not done with Seth Rollins just yet.

The two are still feuding on Monday Night RAW even now. While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that the plan for SummerSlam for Seth Rollins and Finn Balor to square off against each other once again.

“Finn is wrestling Seth, that’s for SummerSlam. Finn’s being protected right now. Finn’s beating everyone because they’ve got to get Finn back ready for Seth. I do know that the plan was that Finn’s going over (winning) constantly because they’ve got to rehab him for Seth because that’s at SummerSlam.”

While no card for SummerSlam has been announced yet, fans can be assured Finn Balor vs Seth Rollins will be one of the top matches on the card. It remains to be seen how WWE will continue to book Seth Rollins and Finn Balor’s feud in the coming weeks.
