Jungle Boy has improved leaps and bounds as an in-ring competitor since his debut in AEW back in 2019. Throughout his career, Jack Perry has been a babyface and eventually gained a proper fanbase. He has been a heel since the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door event and continues to draw the ire of fans. Now it appears Jungle Boy claimed that he will no longer show up for work after AEW Dynamite this week.

Jack Perry ended up turning heel on Hook after his match with Sanada at Forbidden Door – shocking fans in attendance in a big way. The two have been engaged in a bitter feud ever since.

That said, most of the weeks have been Jungle Boy running away from Hook and avoiding actually fighting him in any capacity. This week was no different as Jungle Boy complained how Hook always attacks him in parking lots and immediately after that, Hook ambushed him in his car. This led to Jack Perry running away from Hook yet again.

Following the conclusion of AEW Dynamite, Jack Perry took to Twitter and claimed that he will no longer show up for work until he gets a shot at the FTW Title. Perry added that he will go to Hawaii instead.

B*******… three weeks in a row of this. Since it’s impossible to get any work done these days, until there’s an FTW title match for me, I’m not coming back to work!

I’m going to Hawaii. 🌺🌴😎

We will have to wait and see how AEW will continue to book Jack Perry and Hook’s feud in the coming weeks. With AEW All In set to take place next month, perhaps fans might get to see the two face each other at the event.
