AEW could be adding more pay-per-view events to their schedule with their new Warner Bros Time Warner Deal. Now we have a bit more information, and how likely that is to really happen.

AEW has centered their business model around a few pay-per-views, but other than Forbidden Door in association with NJPW, All Out, Double or Nothing, Full Gear, and Revolution served as their pay-per-views. Now, it appears that they might add even more.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that the idea of AEW adding more pay-per-views is far from a done deal at this point.

From what I’ve been told, and I’ve asked around, is that this is something that’s been talked about for a while, and it’s not a done deal right now.

We will have to see if money talks enough for AEW to start up monthly pay-per-view events. Right now, it seems that this is on the table, but it’s far from a finished deal.

The big question that remains is whether AEW fans will fork over $50 a month for a pay-per-view event. Only time will tell if they are eventually forced to figure that out.
