WWE has gone through numerous developments over the course of a year, especially with Triple H at the forefront of WWE Creative. The company is a global brand and has visited almost every country on Earth. Now it appears the company might be heading back to Australia this year.

WWE’s business model has been nothing short of amazing for the company, as they have managed to break record after record when it comes to overall profits for their weekly shows as well as Premium Live Events.

WWE hasn’t been to Australia since 2019, while there were plans for WWE to travel there before the pandemic took over the world and nixed any kind of plan. WWE has traveled outside of the United States for major premium live events this year.

While speaking on The Footy, Bronson Reed was asked about potential plans for WWE to return to Australia. Reed claimed that he has heard rumblings of WWE returning to Australia in October this year.

“I’m really hopeful that there will be soon. I don’t know yet. I heard that there were rumblings about doing a tour in October, but I think that’s been nixed. I’m hoping early next year, but I don’t know. They should do a big premium live event from Adelaide Oval.”

If WWE Backlash’s success is any indication – the company is more than ready to make a huge impact in Australia. We will have to wait and see whether WWE will make its way back to the Land Down Under this year.
