After Miro’s departure from WWE in April 2020, fans eagerly anticipated his arrival in AEW. He debuted in the company as “The Best Man” to Kip Sabian, but that eventually fizzled out. Sabian hasn’t been doing much in the last three years since then, but it appears Sabian has reassured fans he won’t get fired amidst his AEW absence.

For the past month or so, AEW has been doing a spring cleaning of sorts, as they had not renewed the contracts of the likes of Fuego Del Sol, Trench and most recently Brian Pillman Jr.

All of this has led fans to believe AEW might be releasing more talent that are low on the totem pole. One fan took to Twitter and expressed his worry over Kip Sabian getting fired. Sabian then replied to the fan, reassuring the fan that he won’t get fired and will be staying with AEW for a long time.

Kip Sabian hasn’t competed on AEW television since competing in the ‘Blackjack Battle Royale’ at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view in May 2023. That said, he has been active on ROH TV, teaming up with The Butcher and The Blade. We’ll have to see what’s next in store for Miro’s former partner.
